94th edition of the Cantù Carnival
On Sundays 2 – 16 -23 February the parades of the floats will be held in the center of Cantù, with the grand finale on Saturday 29, the Ambrosian fat Saturday.

The Cantù Carnival is a festival that has a solid tradition. The remarkable size and artistic quality of the allegorical floats, which requires a long preparatory work, carried out in great secrecy, attracts a large audience also from outside the region and from neighboring Switzerland. The typical mask that symbolizes this carnival is Truciolo, a carpenter’s shop boy, the typical artisan activity of Cantù.
